We’ve often sat daydreaming about car brands coming out of their respective lane to create other types of transporters, only never did we believe it could come true in the case of Bugatti.
The German manufacturer, founded in 1909, has partnered with Bytech, an industry-leading technology company, to craft electric scooters — scooters that could usher in a new era of two-wheelers.
The new scooter was revealed at the CES 2022 expo held at the Las Vegas Convention Center last week, and already has scooter heads excited at the possibilities when used in an everyday setting.
“Bugatti is at the pinnacle of automotive excellence,” said Wiebke Stahl, Managing Director at Bugatti International.
“Partnering with a company such as Bytech gives us an opportunity to expand our reach in the electric mobility space with an experienced partner and a product that can be enjoyed by consumers around the world.”
Images were shared of the scooter giving us a pretty good idea of what to expect from a visual and performance perspective.
For those wondering: it does fold, and comes in three unique colours in blue, silver and black. Weight-wise it does sit on the lighter side at a very light 35lbs thanks to a a magnesium alloy frame.
What about speed? After all, this scooter is from someone like Bugatti, a company known for creating speed demons. Well, it has three speed modes with a max speed of 18.5mph, which is fast for a commuter, but not as lightning-like as, some of the heavier scooters out there.
“We are excited to partner with such an amazing brand that represents luxury and top quality in a growing industry yearning for enhanced design, while also incorporating the evolving needs of its customers.”
— Eli Mizrahi, Executive Vice President at Bytech International
It’s powered by a 700w motor, capable of climbing most types of terrain with a 15° incline, and a 36v/10ah battery with a total range of 22 miles.
The battery can be removed and takes around four hours total for some juice.

The lights on the scooter are a talking point in and of themselves. We should mention the dual-turn signals located on the ergonomic handle grips, and the rear mudguard for safety purposes.
There’s lights decorated all over this thing, including the deck, which you’ve probably already noticed from the images shown.
Easily the most attention-grabbing thing about this Bugatti x Bytech scooter is the illuminated backlight casting on the ground. This only adds to the styled sleekness that has followed Bugatti for years now.
It’s details like this that grab your attention and hold it. There’s a strong possibility that — from looks alone — this scooter quickly climbs the current e scooter rankings.
We don’t have a name (or a price) just yet, but you’d have to imagine that info will be right around the corner.
