Skoda is adding to its electric lineup in style, with a new Enyaq Coupe iV, made exclusively for Europe. The lime green vehicle shown will be available in two trims, one a much sportier variant in the RS.
The new Enyaq Coupe iV will come with a choice of two batteries sizes in rear or all-wheel drive. We don’t know anything about pricing just yet, but it doesn’t take an expert to know that the latter will be the more expensive of the two, especially when you consider the max power output of the RS iV (220kW).
Battery capacity-wise, the RS is the strongest of the group, with a 82kWh (net 77 kWh) battery installed. In terms of range, Skoda’s new vehicle promises 545 km of range per charge — which is roughly 330 miles tops.
Another angle of the vehicle, showing it in action on the road, can be found in the below Tweet:

Many have made comparisons from a spec perspective, linking the Rally Sport Enyaq Coupe with another vehicle, that being the VW ID.5 GTX. Its power output and torque are very similar, which shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise given the relationship between the two car brands.
When giving his two cents on the announcement, Thomas Schäfer, Skoda Auto CEO said the following:
“Our designers and engineers have once again succeeded in combining a high degree of functionality with an emotive design. The brand-new range-topping model is also the first-ever all-electric Skoda RS. The Enyaq Coupe iV perfectly combines emotion with efficiency, offering the Skoda-typical generous amounts of space, even in a particularly elegant body.”
The ‘Mamba Green’ colour was the first thing that caught our attention, but what do you make of this updated Enyaq iV? Is it an EV you’d be interested in owning, or one you can’t get since you don’t live in Europe? Leave your comment down below.
